About

Design Process

Every project starts with a personalized consultation to understand your vision. We’ll provide expert advice on materials and designs to match your needs—whether it’s creating a family-friendly kitchen, organizing supplies, or establishing an efficient workspace.

After gathering information, we’ll present a preliminary estimate and a 3D rendering of your project. Once you approve, we’ll either begin building custom cabinets or place an order with our trusted vendors, depending on your selection.

Custom Cabinetry

Our custom cabinets are crafted using top-quality materials for durability and style. We construct all cabinet boxes in-house using prefinished plywood and offer premium drawer systems. We partner with Walzcraft for doors and drawers, providing hundreds of style and finish options to create the look you want.

Vendor-Supplied Options

We also work with reputable cabinet and closet distributors to meet varying budgets and timelines. With a wide selection of styles and finishes, we can help you find the perfect solution for your space. Vendor lead times vary but can be as quick as 2-4 weeks.

Countertops

Deer Mountain Cabinetry also provides Hi-Macs solid surface countertops. Hi-Macs offers an elegant look combined with a surface that stands up to all sorts of wear and tear, adding the perfect finish to your project.

Installation

Our professional crew ensures every cabinet is installed with precision and care. We minimize disruption by using tools with dust extraction and clean the area thoroughly upon completion, leaving your space looking its best.

About Us

Ryan Haffemann, the co-owner and lead carpenter of Deer Mountain Cabinetry, started with a four year carpentry apprenticeship and now has over 19 years of carpentry experience. He has worked on jobs of all sizes – as large as an NFL Stadium and as small as the installation of new cabinet hardware. He takes pride in his work and treats each job as though it were for his own home.

Hannah Haffemann, the co-owner and project manager of Deer Mountain Cabinetry, has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from MSU and has worked as a project manager for over 13 years. She has managed an array of different trades in that time, from concrete work for a collegiate basketball arena to substation rebuilds. Each experience came with new lessons and skill acquisition but something that remained key, and that Hannah brings with her to this company, is a strong belief in the power of good communication.

Ryan and Hannah are raising their three children, Leo, Ada and Finn, in the Butte area (Ramsay) where they enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
